Though February 2009 has already passed, some sneaker spots are now receiving their February shipments of
adidas
sneakers. In the February 2009 collection, adidas has released two new
colorways of their classic high top model, the adidas Instinct High.
The first pair features a white wide mesh base accented by a green
patent leather toecap, a lime outsole, three yellow stripes, lime
laces, and a green rear. The second colorway yields a white and grey
upper with violet and pink accents seen on the sole, toecap, laces,
rear, and stripes. Another key aspect of the second pair is the
corduroy suede used on the violet toecap and rear. Both pairs are now
available at your local adidas retailers.
Wow not really knowing how I am feeling about this shoe because its
like such a mix of everything. At one degree I am glad that adidads is
putting out a pair of super colorful hight otps. Adiddas in my
oppinion always sticks to more traditional and muted colorways as
opposed to the often flamboyant designs of Nike shoes. Othe rhtna
that obvious issue, the actual design of the shoe kind of left me
hanging, especially on the green/yellow shoe. It just was too wide and the top part looks a little awkward and bubbly. The pink colorway definently looks alot cleaner and better in my opinion.
